Perhaps the most famous of the monster hunters, Sir Daniel Raptus and his partner, Magnus Krane, have waged a never-ending war on the unseen world of monsters. A master of alchemy, monster lore and many different styles of fighting, he has performed deeds that have earned him praise throughout all of Europe.
Sir Raptus specializes in the slaying of vampires, trapping of ethereal predators, and the extermination of all unholy pests such as Gremlins and Imps. Many zombies, trolls and wraiths have found eternal rest at the end of his sword. He has authored many prayers and rites that have proven indispensable in the fight against the undead.
His battle prowess is surpassed only by his piety. Despite the vital nature of his work, Sir Raptus heroically chooses to keep his monster hunting fees low so that even the most lowly of peasants can save a few shillings to afford his services.
Sir Daniel Raptus!
Slayer of the demonic Red Cap. Vanquisher of the evil Count Vile. Extinguisher of the flames of the Gilgonok Dragon.
He is a defender of the light that is God's Church and a protector of all mankind!
If Sir Raptus is the most famous Monster Hunter, then Magnus Krane is certainly the most feared. Throughout the underworld, in every shadowy troll den or vampire nest, there are whispers in cursed tongues about the human Beast Slayer that fights with more ferocity than Hell's most savage minion. If there is one thing monsters fear, it is the man named Magnus Krane.
Master of the whip, Wielder of the Ax of Bolla and keeper of several secret forms of fighting arts, no man is more dangerous than Magnus Krane. His specialty is fighting giant carnivorous beasts such as Cave Trolls, yetis, Ogres and any creature foolish enough to flash teeth or claw at the innocent.
As savage as he is in combat, Krane has shown more humanity than the noblest of men. He often donates the furs and hides of the beasts he slays to the church for distribution to the poor.
Dragons...Ogres...Giants...Werebeasts. No matter the size of the beast or the danger, if there is a monster to be slain, Magnus Krane will find a way!
