Giants are enormous creatures possessing incredible strength, and cruelty. These monsters can be anywhere from 9 to hundreds of feet tall.

Although there are no specific categories for giants as of yet, they can be loosely divided into two classes:

Tall: Most of these giants resemble humans, but with less evolved features, such as protruding brows and long arms. These creatures tower over the average human, but can still fit within human dwellings (if they hunch over). They may fall to conventional weapons such as swords, spears or a well placed arrow. Ogres, Hill Giants, Mountain Trolls, Cyclops and any bipedal, non-magical creature that towers over the average human falls into this category.

Impossibly Tall: These are the giants that are rare but spoken of most often. These creatures can peer over castle walls, crush forests beneath their feet and cross rivers in a single stride. Many of these giants tend to eat anything they can, including humans, whose bones they may grind into paste.

Impossibly tall giants may have odd deformities, like extra heads, eyes or hands. They cannot be defeated by conventional means due to their size. A stab from a sword would do no more harm to them than an insect bite would do to an average human. Creative traps and tricks are the best way to combat such giants.
